    Position Summary:

    The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that ReedGroup’s service solutions exceed every client expectation.  This role leads an internal team to deliver complex projects and technical solutions that support a client’s business balancing budget, people, scope and timeline to meet targeted goals.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Responsible for managing all aspects of projects for designated client(s). This includes project planning, execution, resource management, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost.
    • Manage project risks and issues; develop and maintain mitigation and contingency plans.
    • Identify and manage necessary resources and ensure they are assigned, engaged and know their roles and responsibilities.
    • Distribute, track and manage work within the team based on priorities and due dates.
    • Manage and minimize team exposure to shifting priorities; remove any obstacles blocking their success.
    • Provide sound, pragmatic and result-oriented direction to project teams.
    • Track and communicate project status, risk and issues.
    • Escalate critical unresolved issues, including recommendations for resolution.
    • Develop and maintain project artifacts and conduct regular reviews to ensure all participants are aware of progress and roadblocks.
    • Lead stakeholder and/or client calls regarding project status.
    • Participate in executive reporting to ReedGroup management on project status.
    • Communicate proactively and clearly to the development team, to stakeholders, to executives and to clients as appropriate.
    • Identify areas in need of improvement and take actions to bridge the gap.
    • Hold the development team accountable for their deliverables and ensure quality outcomes.
    • Serve as the educator and creator of standards, best practices and metrics.
    • Implement accountability measures across teams.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in software project/program management
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with clients at the Executive level
    • PMP Certification or capability to demonstrate skillset
    • Demonstrated success in driving multiple complex projects from initiation to completion
    • Professional client presence, influencing and active listening skills
    • Demonstrated success managing shifting priorities with limited resources
    • Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders over whom you have no direct authority
    • Proven ability to stack rank, adjust resources and distribute tasks
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to all levels of the organization
