    We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner who will serve as the product lead for ReedGroup’s MDGuidelines solution, a clinical decision support tool used by payers, providers, and employers to help patients return to health as quickly and safely as possible. MDGuidelines is currently one of the leading products in the occupational health market, and is quickly growing into new markets including population health and patient engagement. This technical product manager will demonstrate accountability for success of the product by ensuring that engineering teams are building the right things in the right order to optimize business value and customer satisfaction. The Product Owner - Healthcare will be responsible for driving product development and supporting customer needs.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Serve as a subject matter expert for ReedGroup’s MDGuidelines product
    • Ensure end-to-end customer service and satisfaction with product development and delivery
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Legal, and IT
    • Focus and strong emphasis on customer experience within every customer deliverable
    • Support development teams to meet committed deadlines
    • Ensure visibility of current product prioritization and future plans (roadmaps and backlog)
    • Lead in product demos, planning, and training
    • Exhibit concise communication skills (verbal & written) through the appropriate channel, level and frequency of communication to users, clients, stakeholders, and the core team for the assigned product, module, or feature set
    • Apply standard Product Ownership process while simultaneously considering customer enhancement requests, market capabilities, and product direction
    • Accountable for product documentation for current and ongoing functionality and the appropriate distribution
    • Capture accurate and easily understandable metrics for tracking product health and provide reports to stakeholders
    • Ensure methods are in place for continual monitoring and evaluation of product development progress
    • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance on all offerings

     

     OTHER DUTIES:

    • Mentor, train, and guide the organization’s teams as they learn, and then adopt, best practices and lessons learned from product
    • Suggest and implement process improvements on assigned product/s
    • Support cross-functional team as a resource and advocate the usage of their support

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience 
    • Minimum of 3 years technical product management experience, preferably working on a solution in the healthcare field (e.g., workers’ compensation, population health, patient education, EMR, clinical decision support, eHealth, Telehealth)
    • Passion for healthcare, wellness, and creating innovative solutions for helping ill or injured people return to healthy lives
    • Experience in driving product web development, API development, user interface design, and data analytics
    • Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
    • Strategic and creative thinker with ability to think outside the box and translate strategies into actions
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Team player with proven ability to foster and manage working relationships within a matrix environment
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Experience with Medical Codes (e.g, ICD-10, CPT, NDC) and data integration a plus
