Overview

Who We Are: Reed Group is a dynamic, fast growing organization that works in a niche industry most commonly known as Third Party Administration. More specifically, instead of employers managing the process when an employee needs to go out on leave for FMLA (the family medical leave act) or for Short Term or Long Term Disability, we handle it for them. As a result we have a large customer operations team of talented individuals who manage our client’s employee cases.

We build the software (we have a large group of developers) to manage the entire work flow which is why you could easily think of us as a technology company. We also have a content business called MDGuidelines that contains treatment recommendations for best managing an employee back to work.

Responsibilities

 

PURPOSE: The Receptionist serves a dual role, providing professional reception services for Reed Group’s corporate headquarters and administrative support to other departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide professional reception services to create a favorable first impression with all callers and visitors to ReedGroup
  • Ensure quality customer service by answering calls quickly, screening and directing calls appropriately and providing accurate information
  • Exercise good judgment and follow procedures for handling urgent calls and situations appropriately including maintaining client emergency contact lists
  • Take caller information accurately, using insightful notes for recipient of call
  • Greet visitors and follow sign-in and security protocols
  • Provide support to numerous departments including data entry, filing, assembling materials, editing and maintaining documents, preparing mailings, and collating packages
  • Provide administrative support, including managing and submitting expenses, scheduling and booking travel, managing executive calendars, ordering lunches, and managing conference room availability

 

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Attend department meetings and company meetings
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar receptionist or administrative support role
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Cisco phone system or other multi-line integrated phone system
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • High level of professionalism and customer service
