We are looking for a talented User Interface Designer / Front End Developer who bridges the gap between these practices.  The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. Candidate should also be able to implement these designs as well as designs created by the design team.


  • Collaborate with Product and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Deliver wireframes, mockups, style guidelines, iconography and prototypes for standard and responsive layouts.
  • Develop design templates that are cohesive with the ReedGroup Brand.
  • Supports UI-related development using code-snippets, peer programming and written instruction
  • Create compelling graphic design elements for the visual components of ReedGroup products.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and other stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain style guidelines for all products.
  • Promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience


Knowledge and Experience

  • 2+ years design experience
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Strong working knowledge of Bootstrap
  • HTML, CSS (SASS) and JavaScript experience
  • Excellent visual design skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and other related visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies
  • Firm understanding of Material Design components and patterns
  • Open to receiving objective criticism and improving it a must
