The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to our Service Operations organization and drives the development and execution of HR strategies, initiatives and programs in support of business unit strategies and overall corporate objectives.  This role contributes to the business strategy by helping leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, structures, and processes.  The HR Business Partner provides guidance and support on people strategies and practices that support attraction, retention, engagement, development, rewards and performance management. 



  • Partner with business leaders to influence and guide their people strategy. Determine HR strategies that align with key business objectives and address business and human resources challenges.
  • Meet regularly with leaders and managers to maintain an understanding of the group’s performance, priorities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with specialists on the HR team to develop and implement client centric HR programs.
  • Proactively drive the delivery of HR initiatives into the business and ensure groups are leveraging HR resources to support their success.
  • Identify opportunities for HR to add value to the business and facilitate the sharing of best practices across functions to enable continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify root causes and work with the HR team to devise plans to address concerning trends.
  • Bolster employee performance by coaching management on goal setting, recognition, compensation, delivering feedback and looking for employee development opportunities that align with performance standards.
  • Take an active role in the annual business planning process, providing relevant HR insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organization structure and succession planning.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • In conjunction with management, conduct disciplinary actions and counseling, including recommending terminations.
  • Provide consultation and support to managers on complex employee relations issues and applicable company policies and employment laws.



  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups, including Legal and Finance, to advance HR programs and business strategies.



  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years relevant HR experience required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex and/or sensitive information in a clear, concise, diplomatic and professional manner.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills; uses workforce analytics to inform recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills; ability to build effective relationships with employees, leadership and HR peers; ability to deliver authentic feedback.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong technical skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • SPHR or PHR Certification preferred.
