More specifically, instead of employers managing the process when an employee needs to go out on leave for FMLA (the family medical leave act) or for Short Term or Long Term Disability, we handle it for them. As a result we have a large customer operations team of talented individuals who manage our client’s employee cases.

We build the software (we have a large group of developers) to manage the entire work flow which is why you could easily think of us as a technology company. We also have a content business called MDGuidelines that contains treatment recommendations for best managing an employee back to work.

The Executive Assistant (EA) provides top-level administrative support to members of the Executive Team. The EA has responsibilities in a variety of areas supporting Executives, acting as an interdepartmental liaison and maintaining a high level of professionalism representative of ReedGroup. The EA also manages multiple projects simultaneously and is the point person within an extremely busy, fast paced organization. 



  • Manages calendars of Executives, including scheduling and coordination of meetings, meal planning/ordering, communicating pertinent information to attendees, creating agendas and support materials and taking meeting notes as needed
  • Manages complex travel for executives and corporate guests including air, ground and hotel arrangements; Creates itineraries and ensures communications with all appropriate parties
  • Answers and responds to calls/emails, providing a high level of service, tact and diplomacy in serving as gatekeeper to Executives
  • Composes documents, many of sensitive and confidential nature, including correspondence with clients, meeting notes, reports, proposals, agreements, contracts and expense reports
  • Greets clients and visitors, handles inquiries, communicates with clients and vendors, maintains business relations
  • Provides personal assistance as needed (handling private correspondence, assisting with social and event planning activities, making travel arrangements, etc.)



  • Works closely with the Accounting Department in reconciling corporate credit cards for travel and miscellaneous expenses incurred by Executives
  • Assists in planning company-sponsored events, parties, board meetings, etc.
  • Additional duties and special projects as assigned


  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and tactfulness
  • Minimum of 5 years directly related experience as an Executive Assistant or Executive Secretary to a C-level or executive
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work successfully with multiple team members, interacting with employees at all levels of the organization and managing up as needed
  • Demonstrated competence to handle a variety of activities with attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow through and follow up, and adapt to quickly meet changing deadlines and priorities
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on short deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, dependable, flexible and punctual, with the ability to work well both independently and as proactive team member
